Our digital landline telephone has been plagued by a clicking noise for about the last year. It is worse for the person phoning in than it is for us, but is very noticeable and we'd like to work out what is causing it. It occurs during most, but not all, phone calls.
Does anyone else have this problem? We wondered if it was to do with our wireless network, but it happens even when it is switched off - but might it be caused by other local wireless networks?
We have a single microfilter plugged into our main telephone socket, but not into the secondary one that our digital phone is plugged into.
Apologies if this is too technical - just wondered if anyone else had similar problems, or had any ideas about where we should start. I've done a google search but just got lots of jokes about wire taps!
