Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello,
Does anyone have a 25-30 litre rucksack I could borrow? It needs to have a hip strap and chest strap.
I'm going on a 4 day walk over Easter. I will take care of it!!
Thanks Emma

Philip

Hi Philip,,Many thanks for your kind offer but I already have a 20 litre rucksack- hence why I need one a little bit bigger

Sadly mine is not in the UK, if you get stuck have a look at the hiking section in Sports Direct, you can usually pick up something cheap and practical there...

Where are you walking by the way?

Hi Justin, thanks will have a look at sports Direct! Doing part of the North Downs way....

Nice, make sure you do the bit near Tring, especially with the Ivinghoe Beacon. Lovely part of the world.

Apparently, I was told, this ridgeline marks the furthest south extension of the permanent ice sheet during the last ice age. Not sure if it is true, but it makes sense and is a nice 'fact' to have...

Have done a few Tring walks a few time and the Ivinghoe beacon is certainly lovely

thanks for the fab fact! ill share it with my partner who is also doing the walk with me :-)

Hi Emma, I have a pretty good 25-Ltr "Regatta-Landtrekka" that might suit you. (I also have a matching 30-ltr one with more and deeper pockets, but it's on semi-permanent loan and probably won't be available for Easter.)

This one has 3 useful outside pockets and a rainproof cover tucked away.

PM me. I'm on Wightman Road.

oh  that sounds perfect- thank you. Have sent you a connection request to arrange a time and date when I could pick up.

Really appreciate it.

Emma
