I'm half way through a history degree with the OU (and am just starting A200 - this will make sense to OU students). I love it!
I was out in Harringay this evening and discovered a fellow OU student at the same table. We got to wondering if there were any more OUers out there.
So this thread is to make yourself known (if you want to)
Plus would anyone be up for the odd meet up to moan about TMAs, compare exam results etc, maybe in the Salisbury/Garden Ladder or if you can't get out of an evening, meet over a coffee in a local cafe?

Hi Julia,
I started with DD100 which I think is the old version of DD101. Happy to give you some advice.
I should be able to make Tuesday. Can anyone else?
Kylie
Hi Mike,
We'll see how it goes tonight but I also have time in the mornings to meet up if that would suit some people better.

Hi Liz
My apologies for not making it on Tuesday night I got stuck at work until 8ish and by the time I got home it was too late to come down. Keep me in the loop as would love to have meet some of you.

Hello everyone.
My first tutorial for K217 (Health social care and wellbeing) today and I'm feeling a bit better about it. Good to meet 9 other tutor group students and they seem keen. All immaculately dressed and me in my grubby jeans - oh well. I should try next time.
If we're wanting to meet on a Saturday afternoon mid march, I can do 12th but not 19th, sorry. 26th ok for me too.
Enjoy the studies!
Dug
Hi Dug,
Did my first tutorial and got my second Monday. Scary actually as I hadn't grasped the concepts we discussed at all from my home study. Still that's what tutorials are for. Am swotting hard for the next one to make sure I don't sit in complete ignorance again :)
I'm okay for the 12th on Sat pm. We cld still meet in a pub if people wanted, or maybe a local cafe or restaurant. What do people think?
Hello!
I am now back from holidays and meeting up on the 12th March is good for me. I have something on in the evening but can do the day time.
