Any Coin Collectors Out There?
I have a friend from up the road who is not on HoL who has a load of coins of all types that he is trying to sell. He describes them as carrier bag and 2 buckets full.
I have seen some, some are UK special issues, some old. I have only seen a few though. He seems to think that he has some of some value (having been on eBay), but I am not so sure.
I am not an expert, rather an amateur in my youth. But if anyone out there is an avid coin collector let me know if you want to have a look and offer some guidance to the guy...

I have some (mostly foreign) coins which where my father's and I've used this site to try and identify them. It doesn't give the monetary value though, just a rarity value.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am not sure he has anything valuable, some interesting bits and pieces, but mostly old pennies etc. There may of course be a gem in there somewhere. He seems to have an idea in his head that they are work a lot (having looked at something on eBay), but I am just not sure... I will pass on the advice though.
