Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

It would be interesting for all members to feedback what they think this site has achieved over the last 12 months, its first year.

It maybe something that has been useful for you personally (eg. Questions & offers). You may think the site has contributed to positive real change on the ground, out in the community.

Unfortunately not all of us can make the Navigator meetings that are held monthly so this is your chance to feed back here if you wish. If you'd like to suggest changes to the site or ways to get involved in positive changes out within the community please do include your thoughts.

Also interested to hear from members who aren't regular contributors to the activity/chat section of the website.
Very sweet of you to gather feedback Matt. It's always interesting to get feedback. We have two formal feedback mechanisms on the site already and as fro last year, we'll be doing a more formal feedback process next year. Ingrid has also surveyed site members on their views on the site.

So I have a couple of questions to add to yours Matt:

- Do members feel that there is a danger of them being over-surveyed?

- Do members feel there is a real need met by having other members survey you about this site on top of Harringay Online's own open feedback mechanisms?
Great to see you're welcoming feedback Hugh. I'm more interested in seeing the results of that feedback ... out in the open.
All feedback's always been out in the open Matt.
Do we have Ingrid's results available yet? Or did I miss these.
They're Ingrid's results. You'll have to ask Ingrid. I haven't seen them.
Oh, so that feedback isn't out there. What about the feedback channeled via the 'two formal feedback mechanisms on the site'? Is this available to read?
Yes, the formal feedback is here in site feedback and via the feedback button.

You mention HOL navs too where a number of posts based around the topics discussed at the offline meetings, which all members are welcome to attend, are also available to comment on.
People may also look at the About the website category for past discussions on the site where they will find comments about the site and its work.

Under the local info tab is a section about the website including ways to contact the site.

Even looking at comments on Hugh's Page will give you an idea of what people are saying about the site.

Ingrid's survey was part of her academic studies, and not commissoned by the site, therefore we have no 'right' to see her work. However, you can always ask her to share those results if she feels she is able.

I'm unclear about other what avenues of feedback you think we should be pursuing or what you feel is missing, however thanks for flagging this up as a reminder (with links) to people how they can let us know what they think.
I think that Matt was asking can anyone view the feedback that people have left via the "Feedback" tab on the right or does that go directly to admin?
Blimey, just click on it!
It will give you a link to a feedback forum where you can read whatever anyone leaves...forgive me but there's always the option of going to have a look for yourself, there are no 'secret forums', its an open website called UserVoice.
1....2.....3 and relax!

There's not a lot there thats why I was asking, if there were other things.

Maybe we shouldn't ask questions in the future if that's the response?
Of course you should.. but there don't seem to be any issues that are so pressing that members want to bring them up.

Surely that's the answer to Matt's question..

I've absolutely no idea why anyone here would want to suppress such information.. anyone think otherwise?
