Ha!

1) There's no chance of the Lib Dems ever gaining power here after their dismal performance in the recent past, so it's a wasted vote. If only they'd have got Proportional Representation through when they were in Coalition!

2) I suspect that the Lib Dems would be far, far worse for Haringey than Labour are - where are there Lib Dem Councils that show they'd be better than Labour?

The real challenge is to accept the fact that this is a safe Labour seat and work to improve our democracy here, not marginalise us.  It's really, really tough to make any change but the only way I can see that we'll get a better council is if we're better at making sure they represent our interests more fairly. As trust has broken down, to me that means pushing for transparency so there are no facts hidden that they know and we don't when it comes to making serious gambles with all our futures.
