Accident outside Salisbury

I walked past the Salisbury the other night (Mon / Tues i think) and there was an ambulance taking someone away. a post had been knocked clean over so it must have been a vehicle travelling at some speed which i assume hit the post and a pedestrian.

Just wondered if anyone knew more about it and the condition of the injured person?
