Amazing close up photos! I can name 3 or 4 straight off, but the extreme close up means I can't see leaves, height etc very sneaky.

Gorgeous photos, Hugh, and it must be a lovely garden.  I should post about mine! From top left reading from left to right and then down the columns: auricula, euphorbia, erysium bowles mauve, X, X, X, hazel leaves, euphorbia, cowslip, auricula, euphorbia, X, geranium (forgot variety but I have it too as useful ground cover), forget-me-not, epimidium, X, dicentra.  Do tell us!! Are we going to do Garden Open Day this year?

Our garden used to be very much loved but it's not up to much these day. Your garden on the other hand is pretty special from what I remember of the open garden.

As to the plant varieties pictured and following your scheme of row by row top to bottom, you did a lot better than I would have done.

Primula Veris - Euphorbia Polychroma

Erysium Bowles Mauve - Sweet Woodruff (Galium odoratum)

Lithospermum / Lithodora - Hemp Nettle

Vitis Coignetiae - Euphorbia Martinii

Primula Veris - Primula Veris

Euphorbia Robbiae - Berberis (can't remember exact variety)

Geranium Macrorrhizum - Forget-Me-Not

Barrenwort (Epideium) - Bleeding Heart (Dicentra)

Ah so they were primulae not primula auriculas which are difficult to grow in the garden. Oh of course Lithospermermum but that's very early! I should have got sweet woodruff too as I have some in my front garden.  And yes my garden is looking splendid!

Got as far as Pimula Oblongata and gave up. Beautiful photos Hugh.

Amazing!
