Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
A convoy of bicycles
Tonight, (Saturday) whilst watching TV around 10pm, I saw about 50+ bicycles being ridden in convoy south down my road (Woodstock) towards Finsbury Park Station.
They could have come from Endymion Rd area or Crouch End or Ally Pally.
Does anyone know what it was all about?

Hmm. Reclaim a side road late on a quiet Saturday night. Who would they be reclaiming it from?

Why bike people out of interest, when motor vehicle people kill 50 times as many pedestrians on pavements alone?

The front riders might have been, I didn't really take any notice until after the first twenty or so.
Looking at their route, that may well have been them. They were coming from the north, (Archway Rd on their map) heading south back towards the city. They'd planned to use the edge of Finsbury Park but that would have been closed at that time of night so my road, a marked cycleway, was their slight detour 'home'.

I took a video of them as they passed down Blackstock Rd about 10pm. Quite the party.
