Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A Biannual Street Party for Wightman Rd, alternating with the Harringay Food Festival.

The Ladder cops it's fair share of traffic, Wightman Road is used as a conduit for this traffic throughout the year, Athens has had no car days, this is saying no go for a day, for time to think about the area more as a residential road, and it's for the benefit of us all.

My guess is, Matthew, that while some of us Wightmaniacs might, with much persuasion, be up for a Biennial Street Party, most would find your 6-Monthly Extravaganza a bridge too far, given the dreary winter weather that tends to descend upon this Western Ladder Region between October and April. Besides, have the IMF folks finished quizzing Yanis Varoufakis on the possibly negative effect of Athens' No Cars days on the country's ability to remain within the Euro Zone?

Now, now, I think a BIENNIAL event is not a bad idea. Still, know what you mean about the economic impact of the no car days. The drop in the sales of Salbutimol to the wheezing inhabitants of Athens must be crippling.

I think it's a real shame that these seem to have died. Such fun !
