Community Clear up - tomorrow (28th October)
Some parts of Harringay will get a free clear up tomorrow. You should have had a leaflet through the door. If you are not sure if this includes your area, check here for more info.
They take furniture, beds/mattresses, carpets, broken up and bundled wooden items and small electrical items including music and video/DVD players but not IT equipment.

Hi Liz, I've had a couple of queries about free community clear-ups. (As residents valiantly do their bit to save capitalism by buying new stuff for Christmas and disposing of the old.)
Some people may not know they can search for upcoming dates for their own street on the Council's website here.
It's also clear that not everyone knows that a wide range of stuff is collected for free at any time. The same webpage shows the list. It includes «deep sigh» the usual detritus we often see: fridges; TVs; car tyres etc. Maybe Hol members could mention this to any new neighbours?
