Is it all hot air re wanting to tackle violent crime to and by young people, making Haringey greener and safer, etc, etc - or will there be some results to all this talk? I fear I am losing interest in what the politicians are saying, regardless of where they stand on the political spectrum.

I must admit that until about 6 months ago, I could not have named the GLA member for this area or what party they were from.
Those who have dealt with Joanne McCartney seem to feel that she has done a reasonable job, even if they do not share her political persuasion in local things like police, traffic etc. The fact is the the whole attitude of City hall under Big Boris will be different and we shall have to wait and see...
