Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

When I was a kid, the only thing I remember about St George's Day was that the Brownies and Cubs wore their uniform to school, later it became associated with unpleasant far right organisations but, mercifully, these days it seems to be an excuse for a big ol' party.
On the actual day, 23rd April, Borough Market is relocating to Trafalgar square for the day and there will be lots of food inspired street theatre

and on Saturday (tomorrow) a load of blokes dress up as medieval knights in Covent Garden

Perhaps if anyone knows of any more 'local' events they could post them.

Yes, Ben S is making a bif George Cross out of the red elastic bands dropped by the postie and it will be on show in Warham Road.
I believe the Warham Morris dancers will be performing a traditional dance called 'All hail the Betting Shops' using scaffolding poles.
