If you've read the notice on the top of the main page, you'll be aware that Harringayonline seems to be experiencing some problems with notification mails.
For Yahoo users, and possibly other user too, some of the mail problem may be due to the Yahoo spam filter filtering out Harringayonline mails. All mails used to come from a ning address. They now come from a Harringayonline address. Some Yahoo users have reported that notification mails from this new address are getting caught by their spam filter. (It may be the case for other mail systems too).
I think what's happened is tha Yahoo sees many mails from a new sender, assumes it's spam and filters it to Bulk.
To fix it:
1. Check that your settings are set to redirect spam to bulk rather than deleting on receipt. You can do this by
- go to options
- select Spam Protection
- In the first section select the second option, Save these messages in the Bulk Folder for.....
2. Once you are sure that your spam filtered mail is going to the Bulk folder rather than being deleted, then when/if a Harringayonline mail arrives in your Bulk folder, open it, click on Not Spam at the top of the mail and this should retrain your spam filter to accept Harringayonline mail.
3. If you've had to reset your spam filter setting, as in step 1, once you've marked a Harringayonline mail as Not Spam, you should be able to reset you filter to delete on arrival again, if that's what you want.
