This is a great TV if you want something that's a bit more compact, or for a second room. It's an LG 32LN575V. A few years old now, but still in great condition and has the smart TV applications such as Netflix, iPlayer, Youtube. The remote was replaced recently

Dell 2408WFP monitor - £20

This is a great workhorse monitor - bright and clear display and loads of connection options (DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, S-video, DSub...). It's not a slimline unit, but is very solid and reliable with a strong stand.
- Standard resolution of 1920 x 1200 - most standard 24" monitors only do 1920 x 1080.
- Variable height stand
- Stand swivels to portrait mode.
- No cables supplied - needs a regular IEC ('kettle type') power lead.
- Still in a very good condition.
