El Trio

El Trio is a group formed in the London Jazz scene, composed of Joel Paul on piano, Manuel Filgueiras on drums and Rafael Silveira on bass.

It is in a joint effort by these three musicians in which influences from Indian classical music and both modern and traditional Jazz come together to express a musical experience rooted in the past and focused on the future.

Having played numerous venues both in the UK and internationally, this experienced group promises an interesting experience of musical discovery, as evidenced by their first released album, Roots, featuring Joel Paul's original compositions.
