Crouch End Players present the Merry Wives of Windsor

Welcome to Crouch End, where the gossip travels fast, the neighbours have opinions, and nobody is quite as clever as they think they are. When a swaggering man decides two local women will be easy targets, he’s about to discover that he has seriously underestimated them. What follows is a deliciously chaotic game of deception, revenge and mistaken confidence, as the Merry Wives turn the tables and drag the whole community into their wonderfully mischievous scheme.
 

Shakespeare’s joyful comedy gets a North London makeover, packed with local landmarks, modern gossip, neighbourhood politics and plenty of glorious nonsense. Expect sharp wit, playful revenge, community chaos and a healthy dose of Crouch End attitude. Nobody gets away with anything!
