Event Description
Join us for a Coppicing Weekend Workshop led by Suz Williams, a qualified Coppice Worker. Come for one or both days, no experience needed, you will learn how to safely use the tools for the job and how to go about the task. We will be coppicing some Hazel Trees in Lordship Recreation Ground's Orchard. If there is time we will also be constructing rustic circular woven fences around young fruit trees using the Hazel. All equipment will be provided BUT do come dressed for the weather and with waterproof footwear. FREE but places are limited so booking is essential. Sorry, this is not suitable for young children.
