Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

On a recent thread there were a few comments where people thought that things they had posted had been removed and it turned out that what seemed to be happening was that the comments weren't saved. It happened to me this morning where a post I made needed to be edited and re-posted.
I got the message "saving" and the little twirly clock thing but the save action didn't seem to be resolving itself. Experimentally I pressed the "edit" button again and bingo, it saved. Might be worth a try if you have the same problem.

Yes, I've been having to go back and check stuff and edit or repost. Firefox.

I use whatever nonsense you get on an iPad.

Anything above one paragraph I now write in a basic text editor (like Notepad in Windows), then copy and paste into the Reply box. OK still have to insert links and pictures but you don't get the full  's*d it'  if something falls over half way through. To be fair, it's rare.

For example the latest posting just now on the Steam Watchers group (shameless plug).

I think that this is a very good policy but mainly because it helps to improve clarity and to avoid shooting from the hip.
