Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Walkers on the New River Path have a good view of these images that have recently appeared on the ventilation tower (of the Stonebridge brook). Can anyone say what they mean?

They're a cry for help, Dick. Young Rez, or 'R Man' as he sometimes refers to himself in conversation, has not had it easy. His mum's job in the City provides for all of his physical needs but her absence during his formative years have left him scarred. His dad was never the same after the divorce, and the teachers at Highgate barely acknowledge him after the 4s and 5s in his GCSEs.

Very perceptive interpretation! and spot on I am sure!

Grafitti is not meant to mean anything to the general public, its only a dialogue with other 'writers', much of the calligraphy is deliberately very difficult to decipher, not the above to be fair, a novice perhaps. Street Art on the other hand is about communication with the public. Learnt from Ben Eine when I interviewed him.

Never mind the meaning or the motivation. It's an eyesore and should not be condoned.
