We would like to re recommend Greg the painter/decorator

Greg worked on our homes exterior and interior all of last week, he even turned up on Sunday afternoon to do a little bit of finishing. Not only is he a nice person to have working in your home but he puts in the hours, explains his work, his schedule and costings etc.
His work has been of a far better standard than any one who has worked on our home before and we have already booked him to do more work for us.

Another wholehearted recommendation for Greg and Simon here!
After reading all the positive feedback on this board, we hired Greg and Simon to work on the bedrooms in our newly purchased and very dilapidated flat, and they did an outstanding job. Both rooms were in pretty terrible condition - damp walls, crumbling, water-damaged ceilings held up by woodchip wallpaper, one room entirely papered in woodchip, etc. They stripped all the woodchip (a task I'd been dreading), plastered, treated walls and ceilings for damp, and did a wonderful job with the painting, all in a very reasonable time-span.
They gave a very fair and detailed quote for the work (and broke everything down room-by-room and bit by bit), they worked extremely hard and stayed late to get it done quickly, and when unexpected problems were encountered (half of one ceiling came down when the woodchip was removed and had to be stripped to the slats and repaired), they called us immediately to discuss what should be done, gave us great advice, and kept the total cost very close to the original quote.
Greg & Simon really know what they're doing, and as first-time flat owners we appreciated how patient they were about explaining everything to us. We highly recommend them and will definitely be having them back when we finally get around to re-decorating the rest of our flat!

Another recommendation for Greg and Simon here. I hired them after reading all of the positive recommendations on HOL.
Simon visited my property twice to discuss my requirements and give me a quote. He was very polite and professional. Their quote was also very reasonable and they stuck to it.
Despite estimating that it would take 3 weeks to paint my property they managed to finish in 2 weeks and that was with some extra work I added on! Everything was finished to a high standard and they cleared up after themselves well.
Simon was especially helpful in responding to all of my questions and assisting with my extra requests. Thanks, Simon!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others and plan to use them again for some work to the outside of my property.

Following a large number of positive recommendations of Greg and Simon, I would like to recommend them as well! They have recently completed a thorough redecoration of my two bedroom flat. They are very friendly and very responsive to my questions. The best about them is they would find good solutions and provide recommendations professionally. I would highly recommend them. The stressful flat renovation process became much better when you know your flat is in their good hands :)

Yet another heartfelt recommendation for Simon and Greg from me. Like all the other HoL people, I read about them on HoL and then asked them to work for me. My kitchen is now sparkling new again, after being painted last week. Simon will be back soon to paint my hall. I am very pleased with the work, great attention to detail, extremely thorough, excellent communication with customer (me).Very happy to recommend.

I'd like to add to all the positive feedback. Greg and Simon have just completed a big re-decorating job for me. I am very satisfied with the work and found them to be very helpful, hard-working and efficient. They showed great attention to detail and I found them to be reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend to others.

Greg has also worked on a few parts of my house. The living room was completely redone to a very high standard (new ceiling, plastered walls, burned off paint from woodwork, stain-blocking original features), using Farrow and Ball paint. It looks amazing, and I am a very demanding customer! The hallways were refreshed this autumn. I needed the job done quickly and Greg was very accommodating at getting it done efficiently. Greg and Simon are always easy to deal with and reliable. I enjoy working with them and am happy to recommend them to others.
