Hello,Now it's the school holidays and Easter my sense that it is quieter in the neighbourhood, with some people away. For the Food Bank we continue with our service as best as we can. Our numbers had gone down a bit as the New Year passed, but in the last few weeks we have now seen a definite increase in our numbers. The Food Bank was busy over Christmas as we made use of the extra donations we often get at this time of year. So chocolates, cakes were plentiful. To these we had some nice toiletries as well as hats and gloves to give out. Thank you.We are now settling down into the New Year, though find demand still high. Hello,It's been a whole since our last post. The meeting with donor's did not happen. It is not easy gathering people, though we can look at other ways of communicating. Also, we have been busy meeting demand of our visitors since.We regularly get 60 plus people a week representing over 200 people. Hello again,Now we know that the demand for the Gospel Centre Food Bank continues apace at well over 50 visitors a week with 200 beneficiaries. That is putting a strain on our resources, as we try to keep to our budget for spending.
