Hi Janis, yes Nonie, i was told she had ginger hair. Others that mum remembers are Chris, Sally and Lena.
Hi Janis
My Nan's married name was Annie Elizabeth Beatrice Terry nee Tongue. She had a bit of a complicated history in so much as that she had 11 children. The first 5 of these were by the person she married, the next 3 of which my mother was the first born in 1922 in Rectory Rd ( Very near Westfield Rd, were by Charles Samuel Poole even though they all used the surname of Terry throughout their lives. The last 3 all had the surname of Price. My nan was never widowed, divorced or remarried so it's a good job I have been doing my family history for 45years+ before all the aunt's/uncles pasted, else it would have been a nightmare trying to sort out who was who. I went to St Mary's infant school that was near to Hornsey Police station. I don't remember any names from Westfield Rd other than a very old lady that lived at 58 named Mrs Willoughby.
Hi Janis, my mum Jean recalls Bobby, June, Jackie, David and his dad George Horridge.
Hi Janis, think we were at Rokesley School together. Can remember walking home with you - your house half way down Westfield on the right? I lived in St Josephs.
