Remembrance Sunday
Haringey’s Wood Green War Memorial was the centre for the traditional Remembrance Day parade and ceremony, which took place yesterday. It was a well-attended and moving event, with representatives from numerous local organisations and many wreaths were laid. For the first time there was a wreath of white poppies for Peace, with its added significance of commemorating all victims of war, civilian as well as military.See More
