"I reckon you should get in touch with Zipcar - someone might have flagged to them to remove it. Hope you get it back or, if you don't, that there wasn't anything irreplaceable in there"

Left a suitcase in Zipcar boot - Hewitt Road

After a stressful day two weeks ago I left an almost empty suitcase in the boot of the Hewitt Road Zipcar, and only just realised this weekend.I’ve just checked the car and (not surprisingly!) it’s not there. If by any chance anyone has come across it grateful if you could get in touch. Thanks so much. See More

"I’ve been musing over the disappearance of blackbirds from my garden over the last few years, so interesting (and very sad) to hear about why is the case. They were the most common birds I’d see when I moved in over 20 years ago - now…"

Walking from Harringay to Alexandra Palace

Posted on May 22, 2010 at 20:21 13 Comments

I had one of those 'why has it taken me XX years to do this' moments today, walking to Alexandra Palace and only having to cross one main road. I'm sure lots of you know this already, but for those who don't ...

1. From Wightman Road turn into the New River Path (green gate on west side Wightman, somewhere between Hewitt and Allison Roads). Ignore the rubbish (or even better complain to Thames Water at customer.feedback@thameswater.co.uk). Check out the size of the garden on the left… Back to Harringay Online

Dear Alison,

I was wondering you had any further news about the Garden visiting activity on 1 July. As I mentioned earlier, we are flexible as to time and happy to have the visit to our garden however it best suits given perhaps the proximity to others. Do let me know so we can plan our day both in terms of visits elsewhere and being ready to have visitors at our place.

Thanks,

James

Thanks for the loan of the wheelbarrow. I am all done with it now, are you around at the weekend so I can drop it off?

Hi still trying to get my head round it all to be honest. What did happen last night? What will happen next?
You can change your email via the settings top right hand corner. I should drop Hugh a note to let him know though to ensure you get the update sent to the right address.

Thanks for your message Alison. It sounds like you've been caught by a nasty bug. I've been up and about, but mainly held up by Day and Night nurse! I'm feeling a bit more human today. Hope you are to and 100% fit and well again for Christmas. Hope you, John and Fred all have a lovely time. Hope to see you in the NY!
