I've lived in Harringay since 1988 and enjoy the cultural diversity, the predominantly Victorian/Edwardian built landscape, the variety of food & drink to be found in the Harringay part of Green Lanes and the fact I can go out to the local shops at any time of day or night and find just about anything & everything food-wise.
Although the area does have its problems compared with other parts of London I have lived in (Barnet and the Wandsworth/Southfields area) with dodgy local government, rubbish & fly-tipping especially being major issues, those who choose to live in the area seem generally down-to-earth, honest, hard-working people. And the Haringey recycling/reuse facilities are the best I've encountered anywhere.
I am trying to find out from you if the log fire is still available cause I will like it please.
