The last request for loft conversion specialist recommendations didn't seem to get much traction so thought I'd try again for recent experience. Looking at getting one done this year and aiming for something good quality both architecturally and build-wise. From older posts and other sources, I'm considering:
Architecturally, interested in views on any practices who can bring a bit of design creativity and have done standalone loft designs. Or equally, I'd consider a design and build contractor if they have the right type of designers in house. Plusrooms looked decent but only do lofts alongside other works.

Hi
We recently used Trendy Lofts and are very happy with the job - quality of work, cost, reliability. They are a design and build outfit and have an architect that you can work with at the beginning to shape your design. I wouldn’t say they design it for you, but can help work with your ideas. They only do lofts.
We used Ilir Thaci for our loft conversion which was about 6 years ago now. He has helped us out with a few things in our new house too though. He’s excellent. I posted some photos on here a while back showing the loft conversion he did. Should be able to find with a search.
My partner is an architect based on the ladder and has good relationships with various local builders. You can contact him via his website and see more of his work on his instagram.

Worked for my projects as an architect and he carries out works himself with his crew. Reliable, responsible, responsive and usually busy, you might need to be patient?
