In 1954, I did a newspaper round for Benton Bros, the shop shown bottom right, but the shop I delivered from was at the bottom of Crouch Hill. Either Bentons moved or the shot was actually taken from the bottom of Crouch Hill.
I think the news paper shop you mean was opposite ferme park rd and maunders flowers also there was a tiny pub there,,
Hmm - I subsequently worked at a newsagents on Tottenham Lane near the corner with Ferme Park, run, funnily enough by an Ernie Darby and his wife.
