Wow. That’s one of the massive houses I used to live in early 80s as a student nurse. Before it was all made into flats

Likewise — shared a house there for most of the 80s. Struck lucky and had the largest bedroom I’ve ever had in my life! Had to fight the council off at one point when they tried to get us to ruin the (restored) building with lockable fire doors and other things on grounds it was an HMO, when we just saw it as a group of old friends sharing the premises to help pay the mortgage; not sure we’d succeed under current legislation.
