Hmm - interesting. My son had a lovely art studio in the warehouses district until rapid rent rises made it totally unaffordable for him.

Thanks Hugh, for the link to BD article. However it doesn't say much about the gentrification processes and the different parties involved.

Are there  site plans showing different titles?

What are their development plans? What legal planning documents are in place? Are there active groups of developers and their lawyers, of course, involved in the sites? 

One critique of such schemes is that creative artists risk becoming "the shock troops of gentrification"
