I don't know how I missed the original post, and I never knew this, or such places existed. As all telephone equipment was rental only then I expect it was more of a showroom. Interesting display of 162/232 and candlestick 160 phones. Also a display of 2-motion selectors on the right to demonstrate call switching, plus switchboards and an A B callbox.
