I am a Student at UCL and am investigating the history of Campbell Bunk, I saw that on a previous thread you said that your parents grew up nearby. It would be fantastic if I could get in contact with you to talk you about their experiences / anything they might have told you about the Bunk.
Hi David, I started at Stationers in 1954 so our experiences do overlap somewhat although I left in 1960. The bust tickets were a scam for me. I always took them and swapped them for fags! I rode by bike most of the time! I do not recall the sweet shop so that may be a later tradition. I do remember the changing rooms in the rather fine pavilion. The wooden floors were lethal! And we threw dooberries at the ceiling - were they still there?
Regards

Any help would be fantastic,
