I've had these images for a while. The first is taken near Eden Grove. In the distance is the Green Lanes Wesleyan Church. The second, smaller image is taken from a little bit further north but also shows the church. You may notice that in the first photo there's a spire. In the second that's not showing. It looks to me like the first photo is earlier, say 1900 and the second is a bit later say 1910 or so. The spire was damaged by a storm (a more common occurrence than you'd think) and removed at some point between the two photos. The church was demolished in 1968 due to dry rot,
On the left in both photos you can just about see the Royal Oak, now the Leconfield and shortly, apparently, to be the Golden Tooth. This pub was first opened in 1848 and in this century has been through various guises. It was rebuilt in the 1920s in the then popular Tudor revival style.
