Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

My Uncle in the garden of 630 Green Lanes. I think the space opposite the house was occupied by ‘Siemens Heating’

I can see the fencing next to 641, I've checked the phone directories between 1957 and 1965 and nothing comes up for Siemens.
Did your family have the whole house at 630?
It looks like Green Lanes was a lot greener back then.

I can now see in the original photo of my mother the name of the occupiers was ‘Siematic Industries’ and there is more signage Fuel economies Glass.
The House was owned by my Uncle but shared by the extended family. 9 of us lived there.
I also have a couple of photos of the large back garden and some photos taken of the family inside the house.

Another Aunt and Uncle lived next door at 632 so I was familiar with that house as well.
