There are plenty of pictures of the exterior of the old church (see tag, below right), but I hadn't seem one of the interior before. Earlier today, I happened to spot this grainy old photo in an electrician's trade magazine reporting on a new lighting installation.
According to an article published in the Hornsey Journal in the previous year, St Paul's was the 'First All Electric Church' in the country.

The date is in the title
I was christened there in the 60s as were my siblings from the late 50s. Went to Sunday school and did a few stints in the choir. I remember Mr Blood the Verger. I can remember playing in the vicarage with the Vicar's children. A lovely house with a walled garden. I always remember they had rocking horse in one of the bedrooms. Sadly can't remember any of their names.
Just to add I was very sad when it was destroyed by the fire. A lot of my early memories are associated with this church.
