Wood Green High Road Circa 1905

This is looking north towards present-day Wood Green tube station- Mayes Road is on the left. Mayes Road doesn't join the High Road now. Alexandra Road would be sharp left of the camera.  Now Boots the Chemist is approximately on the site of the Wine & Spirit Store.

Thanks for that. I'd assuemd that it was looking south and the road on the left was the one going into Noel Park.

The above ordnance survey map dates from 1893-95. It even shows the little circular patch where the road sign is.
