Wood Green High Road, after the demolition of Printers Almshouses, 1969

After the Printers Almshouses were demolished in 1968, the site was used for the construction of a GPO (BT) building, now Greenridings House. Going north, it is just before St Michale's Church and the junction with Bounds Green Road.

The photo was probably taken from the roof of the next building to the south, now Ashley House, which stands on the site of the Jolly Butchers pub.
