@mrs finch No, we are the only Oxfam shop in te North London area to do so. Other areas have their own arrangements.

@John D We're in Crouch End: 22 Park Road, N8 8TD. The picture is tagged with out location, but yes, it's not always easy to spot that. Sorry.

oh good you are my local shop, although its easier to park at the archway rd one.  Do you accept any small electrics? do you have a method of recycling ones that you cannot sell? Presumably you PAT test them and some fail.

@mrs finch Yes, we PAT test them and yes the one's that fail the test are sold on to a recycling firm, so they still raise funds for Oxfam's poverty-relief programs.

brilliant. i have lots of small electrics I meant to sell on ebay, but it meant testing them  photographing and listing them.Life is too short. I did  not want to put them in the Harringey recycling bins because they do not make good use of working items, just ship the lot of to recycling firms to be stripped down, what a waste. Do you want the boxes and instruction books if i have them?
