View towards Hornsey Church Tower from St Mary's Road Rooftop, c1960

Thanks to Bill O'Brien for this very rare image. His family lived at a 20 St. Mary's Road, from where I assume this photo was taken. All the houses were demolished in the 1960s.

Comment by Peter Brooks on July 25, 2020 at 22:28: A photo taken by my dad in his late teens from the back bedroom of 40 St. Mary's Road circa late 50's. He was admiring the view of the palace. When i saw Bill O'Brien's pic it reminded me that i had seen one similar in my parents photo collection. The building with the V shaped roof is a garage of 30a St. Mary's Road which had access via a narrow alleyway.
