Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This photo shows 4 Turnpike Parade, at the south of the art-deco block designed around the tube development at Turnpike Lane. To the left is Green Lanes. To the right is the bus station behind the block. The shops in the cinema block to the south (behind the photographer) were numbered 5 - 9 Turnpike Parade.

Comment by Chris Barker on September 15, 2023 at 12:07: You describe the area to the right of the building as a bus garage. Was it a garage or a bus station? There was a bus garage called West Green but I don't know where it was situated.
