I believe the back and side of the Wellington suffered bomb damage in WW2. I recall as a child, hearing a story about glass cases with large fish from angling tournaments lying on the pavement after the attack.

1904 was the first year of electric tram operation. Electric services commenced 22 July 1904. Perhaps the reason for this photograph. That said, the electric line up to Hornsey and Alexandra Park opened in 1906, so this photo may actually be later  (see overhead wire) and in winter sometime.
