This photo can be dated to 1959/61.
Trolleybus 1146 is a K1 type trolleybus on a Leyland chassis, delivered in 1939 to Hackney Depot for use on routes 555, 581 Woodford, Leyton & Bloomsbury via Shoreditch (555) and via Angel (581). The 677 ran from The Isle of Dogs to Smithfield via Mile End, Hackney & Angel. Hackney Depot was renamed Clapton (CT) from 1950.

1146 was transferred to Wood Green (WN) in 1959 when the Clapton routes were withdrawn, replacing older H type trolleybuses on routes 627/629 & 641 and remained at Wood Green until the 641 was withdrawn in November 1961. It was then transferred on to Isleworth Depot (IH), where it replaced more modern trolleybuses that had been sold to operators in Spain and worked on route 657 Hounslow - Shepherds Bush until the very last day of trolleybus operation in London, 9th May 1962. It was broken up shortly after.
