The "Round House" High Road, Wood Green, c1910

The wine merchants at 135 High Road, at the junction of Wood Green High Road and Mayes Road was known for much of the twentieth century as the “Round House". This photo from about 1910 shows the epithet emblazoned on the building's facade.

Today the location of the shop front is on the pavement directly in front of where Sports Direct meets Boots.
