Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Rectory used to stand in a large garden at the western end of Hornsey High Street, opposite Middle Lane. The northern and eastern boundaries of the garden is now today still visible as Rectory Gardens.

I reckon this was still there in the late 50s when I used to take tea on a Monday/Tuesday morning with the excellent Rector, Sam Kemble and get the 'news' for the Hornsey Journal. Am I right, Hugh?

Yes, I think it was demolished in the early 1960s and replaced with St Mary's School.
