Thanks Hugh.

My bit! Thought it might be because of the windows. Wow. Never knew it was a pub! When was it closed down, d'you know?

The pub was doing alright but "Wetherspoons" seemed to want to get rid of a few pubs, like "The Goat" and "The Mortimer Arms,"  in the area at the time. They let the place deteriorate over a few years and moved on.

Should we all celebrate the opening of the 10th (Hugh can correct me on this) on Green Lanes then?

This was a great pub and didn't get the usual dross of Whetherspoon seasoned drinkers, or not that many . Had many a good night in there, then over to pick up a curry from opposite (now the Garden Ladder).
