Horse & Hound Trophy, Horse of the Year Show, 1952
The Horse of the Year Show was held in Harringay Arena for its first ten years, from 1949 to 1958. In its final year at Harringay, the show featured in the first broadcast of the BBC's new Saturday afternoon sports programme Grandstand.

Anyone remember early to mid the sixties roughly, a young lad (Rocker) on his motorcycle and sidecar sadly being killed on the road inside the grounds. He was leaving Alley Pallet heading towards the gates on the Hornsey side he came off the road on the sharp bend.i vaguagly new him although I cannot remember his name.
