I'm guessing that this image is late 1940s / early 1950s, but what interested me is the now long gone London Transport wayfinder post in the middle of the junction.

A great picture, Hugh. When are we going to see a Harringay Photo Exhibition?
The driver has a long trip ahead of him...!
I've toyed with the idea, Michele, but I'm not sure how much interest there is.
Google is your friend :-)
Original RF routes
715: GUILDFORD via Ripley, Esher, Tolworth (Kingston from 1977), Shepherds Bush, Oxford Circus, Enfield and Ware to HERTFORD
As said - a long trip.
I remember quite recently there were vestigial tram lines between the pub and the shops. I think there must have been a depot there.
And the driver has already driven from Hertford via Enfield, Kari.
Victor, the 715 served Barnes Common and Hammersmith, so would very likely have used Hammersmith Bridge.
Here's some info from Stephen about the 715 in later years.
Where is Stephenbln when you need him ? :-)
