The building in the centre background is the now demolished Criterion Buildings, The National Westminster Bank took the ground floor from 1910/1911.
In the foreground, on the far left, Singer Manufacturing was at 38 Broadway (now Nationwide). On the extreme right, Hazel Brothers Butchers was at 35 Broadway (now Waitrose whose premises occupy 35-39 Broadway).
