I love this pic Hugh and find it amazing but confusing.   We had an old aunt,  Ann Harris, who we believed to live at number 11 ??  A lovely bandy legged, white haired old lady.  She was into Ouija board readings, etc.   Her sister, our paternal grandmother, lived opposite in a horrible old tenement block (long since demolished).  Consisted of a terrace of 2 or3 blocks, each block had central stone stairway leading to 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs flats.  Would love to know the history behind them !   Nan's flat number was 12c.  Hence my confusion !  We had family friends, Wakelings, living up top end of Colina at number 43, West Green Road end.  The photo above appears similar design house to Auntie Ann's with same front railings to right of the old chap.  But Auntie Ann's front door was to left of her bay window.   I have a photo to compare.  Have you anymore photos of Colina Road Hugh ?

Oh dear, silly me !   This pic has just turned up again and on reading my above comment I immediately noticed my error.  I must've been so excited and amazed to view an area I recognised that I jumped to conclusions.   My old Aunt and Grandma lived in STANLEY ROAD just off of Colina Road.  And I was born in Harringay Road.   From memory (for what it's worth) I think this style of house might've been located between Green Lanes and Harringay Road junction ?  Lovely looking old gentleman though.
