  1. Hello Elaine. I was at Woodlands Park Schools the same years as you  your name rings a bell. Mine was Joyce Wilkinson. I went on to Belmont. My Three brothers went to South Grove. Two of them two to three years older and one a year younger.

Hello John. One of my teachers in the Juniors was Mr Lunny. There might have been a Miss Rose very good singer but not sure if I am getting my Schools  muddled up.

Elaine and Joyce Boston.......hello !  Teachers that I remember from Woodlands were : Mr Lunney, Mr Shepherd and a young Miss Jenner.  I can't recall headmaster's name and of course Boys and Girls were separated, weren't they, so makes it more difficult to share teachers names. I seem to remember years at Woodlands as happy years. Yes Elaine, South Grove did amalgamate in Autumn '64, I finished SG July '64.  I lived the other end of St Anns, in Harringay Road.                                                                    Joyce......I remember a Peter (?) Wilkinson around my year and an older brother but can't place his name.  Did you live up near The Ever Ready factory ?  Coincidence in your mentioning Miss Rose as a very good singer, Mr Lunny was also.  Did you go onto a singing career of any sort ?                              Any school photos between you two ladies by any chance ??

Hello John. I think the Headmasters name at Woodlands Jnrs was Mr Haywood..Pete was my eldest brother born 1947. John born 1948. 1 was 1951 and younger brother Terry born 1950. We lived in Roseberry Gdns which is off Warwick Rd where the Ever Ready was. No singing career. Tone deaf.

Woodlands Park Junior School, 1958 - 1964: Headteacher Mr Haywood, other teachers Mrs. Parrot, Mrs. Rudge the dates I was there. There was also a Mr Lamb or Laum or something like that. My sister Beryl Nairn went to South Grove in the early 60s, she had many friends there, including Susan Gange who lived across the road. There was a guy called John Jackson who married a girl a few doors from me.
